Chase was great today when he came out to help me with some plumbing issues that I'd noticed in my new house, as well as some things that Brian J found when doing a whole home inspection. Chase was able to fix all but one of the problems immediately (fortunately they turned out to be minor) and showed me how to fix them myself if I ever ran into the issue again. I really, really appreciate that! He also made sure that I knew how to turn off the water to the house in case of an emergency. I am really happy my realtor recommended Carolina Conditions to me! I recently purchased a home and had Carolina Conditions do a full home inspection after living in it for about a month. I had noticed a few weird/concerning things but wasn’t sure what might be a symptom of a big problem and what was an older house quirk. The inspector showed up a little early (after calling ahead to make sure that was okay) and was wonderfully caring and patient! He explained the why behind what he found, shared his opinion when I asked, and didn’t pressure me into anything. He went above and beyond, giving me invaluable homeowner tips like how to put up blinds faster, how to level out a cracking cement pad in the backyard, and taught me how to shut off the water to the house if there was an emergency. He never made me feel silly for not knowing these basic things, and I felt like he really cared about helping. He could teach a master class in customer service! I now feel confident in how to prioritize the repairs/improvements that I want to have done without feeling overwhelmed.

Upon arrival, customer stated there was an issue with the outlet for the irrigation system . After further inspection, it was discovered that the connections on the back of the outlet were corroded, and the GFI would not reset .Replaced the bad GFCI receptacle and weather proof cover on menu board that controls the irrigation system. Removed old toilet and found the flange was cracked on one side and was 3/4 of an inch above floor. Removed old flange and installed new one. Installed new wax and bolts to new flange. Installed client provided toilet. Installed new supply line. Checked everything for leaks while onsite none present. Sealed the sides and front with clear silicone.

I installed a new 4 inch steel hard pipe dryer vent and supported the duct with metal support strips and sealed the joints and seams with heat resistant tape. Upon completion, I performed an air flow test and everything is running well.
Arrived on site to investigate no cooling. Found the nest thermostat reading y1 failure, tested the wiring between r&y terminals. The wiring tested from the thermostat to the roof top unit. Found the thermostat suffering intermittent failure. Recommend to replace the nest. Recommend service to be performed on the system twice per year.
Install new electrical service and meter panel combo. Run power from new service box to shed to restore power. New electrical line for shed will have to be trenched underground installed in conduit. Install 2 GFCI receptacles in the kitchen. Thank you for choosing Carolina Conditions.
